About Us

Dimmick House is a Victorian Italianate built in 1876 by the Dimmick family, originally from New York.   Set on 1.6 acres, the Shiawassee River runs along the grounds of the south lawn.  Our guests may enjoy a cup of cocoa in front of the fireplace or sit on the porch with a good book and a glass of ice tea.  Dimmick house is located in the historic district of Owosso, just a short walk to Curwood Castle, restaurants, theaters, and shopping.

This 14 room, 6000 sq ft home has covered porches, and great views of the south lawn and Shiawassee River.  There are four guest accomodations to choose from, each with varying amenities.
